Do you book language interpreters for your patients or carers? Would you like to know more about making the best use of these sessions? The patient population is becoming increasingly diverse and the use of language interpreters will continue to rise at RSCH. Come along and learn more about how you can get the best out of services, pick up tips and learn about the type of support that interpreters can provide you and your patients and carers.

We have arranged two one hour training sessions for BSUH NHS staff. The training will cover all aspects of working with an interpreter to help you get the most out of services and ensure that effective communication is in place for patients/carers when working across cultures.  The training also raises awareness and understanding of cultural and linguistic differences.

The sessions are available on the 21st of August 2017 and the 29th of August 2017 at RSCH AEB in Brighton, 10 am to 11 am. To reserve a space or find out more, please contact Equality@bsuh.nhs.uk.
