On Sunday the 19th of November 2017, from 11am to 7:30pm, the Attenborough Centre in Brighton, UK, will host a ‘Migrant Lives Matter’ event. The University of Sussex School of Global Studies presents this all day celebration of migration and diversity. There will be music, films, art and workshops.

The line up includes special guests comedian Juliet Meyers and author and co-founder of War Child, David Wilson. A full programme of exclusive film-screenings throughout the day complemented by Q and A’s and panel discussions will run in conjunction with talks and workshops on migration related issues. The event is open to everyone and all proceeds will go to the local organisations who support migrants – Sanctuary on Sea and The Migrant English Project.
