Brighton & Hove LGBT Switchboard and Macmillan Cancer Support have put together an online survey to learn about the experiences and needs of LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) people living, working or studying in Brighton & Hove and Sussex who are affected by cancer.
Everyone affected by cancer including partners, families, friends and those bereaved by cancer are invited to participate. The survey is confidential and anonymous. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
As a ‘thank you’ a £20 shopping voucher in the form of a randomly selected draw will be offered to one person who fills out the survey. If you wish to enter please leave your email address at the end so we are able to contact you. This will not affect your anonymity.
The survey – for healthcare professionals

If you are also a healthcare professional working with LGBTQ people affected by cancer, please consider  taking the survey for professionals:

Why is this work important?

  • To help services support those affected.
  • Identify areas for improvement.
  • Learn about the needs of the wider community.
  • Provide guidance for future interventions for those in similar circumstances.
