Public Health England has a useful 23-page document providing basic guidance on screening for trans people. Highly recommended for all areas involved in screening: breast screeing, cervical screening, abdominal aortic screening and bowel cancer screening. Do use the guidance to inform how you contact patients and promote your screening programmes to trans people. Also ensure you offer alternative appointment sessions for those who would rather be seen later in the day/after main sessions. Please ensure you use the guidance to communicate options available to trans people.

If you require guidance or have any questions contact the EDI team.
