The Inclusion Team covers all aspects of the NHS equality and diversity agenda. Apart from strategy, data, reporting and training, the Team supports staff and patients who need one-to-one guidance over concerns and queries covering a wide range of topics including reasonable adjustments, bullying, harassment, hate crime, interpreting, translation of documents, team communication, wellbeing and much more. If we are unable to assist you, we will sign post you to the relevant team at the hospital.
Barbara Harris (Head of Inclusion) leads on the Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) and Gender Pay Gap. She covers the diversity and inclusion agenda for BSUH NHS Trust and Western Sussex Hospitals Foundation Trust.
Simon Anjoyeb (Deputy Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) leads on service improvement, data reporting and the Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES) for BSUH NHS Trust and Western Sussex Hospitals Foundation Trust.
Olivia King (pronouns she/her/hers) (Equality Advisor) develops resources, conducts research, manages and delivers workshops and awareness sessions on a wide range of equality-related subjects across BSUH NHS Trust sites and also for selected suppliers. She co-produces engagement activities with other public sector organisations to improve staff and patient experience.
