The Workforce Race Equality Standard  (WRES) Working Group is headed by the Chief Executive, Marianne Griffiths. WRES forms part of the NHS standard contract and all NHS organisations are required to comply with the requirements to report data, analyse it and develop action plans to address race inequality in the NHS. It also forms part of their Public Sector Equality Duty to eliminate discrimination, promote equality of opportunity and foster good relations between those with different protected characteristics.
